Essential fall albums

Here are some albums, new and old, that will always make me think of fall. Pls don't judge on the number of 'best of's here- I'm not a newb. and they're pretty awesome despite being moderately mainstream. Also, King of the Beach came out last FALL so it's for sure appropriate. Anyhow, I've included the standout track from each one! PLUS an imboycrazy quote...

"If you have to ask him to make you a mix, he doesn’t love you." [Blind Leading the Blind Pt. 71]

  1. Robert Pollard with Doug Gillard- Speak Kindly of Your Volounteer Fire Department ["Frequent Weaver Who Burns"]
  2. Superchunk- Majesty Shredding ["Learn To Surf"]
  3. The Smiths- The Sound of the Smiths ["What's The World"]
  4. New Order- New Order Singles ["Procession"]
  5. Joy Division- Best of Joy Division ["Shadowplay"]
  6. Wavves- King of the Beach ["Take On the World"]
