Rainy Day Music

Today is definitely a Seattle day if I've ever seen one: fog, dew on the grass, lush green trees, mist, grey skies...days like these bring back great memories. Unfortunately I'm sick today, but on the bright side, I have the time to put together a rainy day playlist! The mood is mellow and kind of dreamy featuring artists like Sigur Ros & Bon Iver while Rilo Kiley & Elliott Smith add some lovely sweet vocals. I can just picture myself driving into Seattle on a day like today listening to this playlist. If you haven't ever been to Seattle, here's a taste.

Teen Vogue: June 09

I know I'm not the only person who scans news stands, searches profusely on the net, and rushes to her mailbox every day after school to see who's on the new Teen Vogue cover. It's important okay? Teen Vogue provides me with hours of relaxing reading bliss- very hard to find a magazine these days that I'll read cover to cover. But have any of you noticed that Teen Vogue has become thinner and thinner every month? If I look at my collection of mags on display in my room (see pic below), it's very apparent that Teen Vogue is wasting away. Ever since the September Issue with Anne Hathaway on the cover, the articles have declined- being replaced by more ads. It makes me so sad because that's the exact thing that happened to my beloved ElleGirl- RIP. I really hope that T.V. doesn't go the way of ElleGirl, but if  it does, what moderately priced teen fashion mag will there be left?
