Earthly Belongings II

This is what I brought to Toronto for my OCAD University interview (my Nirvana shirt seems to give me good luck so here it is once again!). I was inspired by Kimberly from Wildfox's blog post showing what she packed for a short trip.

I've been into minimalism lately..not necessarily Calvin Klein or extreme modern minimalism but the thought of living off what you essentially need..I feel like I'm growing closer to my goal of traveling as light as possible- it's my problem of buying very heavy magazines wherever I go that weighs my suitcase down the most. Good thing I fully accept my magazine habit and am not going to condemn myself for finally finding Lula Spring 2011 (!).

Paris Fashion Week!

Street style from Paris via Stockholm Street Style. Doesn't the fisheye add an even more intimate feel to street style? I'm really loving the subjects' giddy grins and cat eye glasses. Paris fashion week is my favorite because not only does it have some of the best collections showing, but the street style also features beautiful Parisian sceneries. I'm sooo excited for the Miu Miu and Sonia Rykiel shows!

I also have to say that I am eagerly anticipating Chloe in hopes that Hannah McGibbon will mix things up at least a little bit and STOP WITH THE BEIGE. I miss the old Paulo Melim Chloe girl. I'd like to see some "statement" shoes or at least some interesting fabrics and cuts. We'll just have to wait and see...
