July 31st?! Where did my summer go? When did this happen? Oh yeah, probably when I was toiling away at my "Civics & Careers" online learning course. NEVER AGAIN! Anyways, I finally get to have my summer this august, so I'll stop obsessing over my dumb course (& forget about it). I'm also kind of sad that this will be the last un-stressful summer before I need to think about my future plans. Yikes. I'm definitely making the most out of August :)
I've gotten a chance to look at some lovely fall fashion, and to read the August Teen Vogue (and yes, I know that the September issue is out already). I was kind of impressed but the fashion shoots were lackluster. For starters, each look is basically the same except with a different pose and location. All the outfits ranged from unflattering baggy pants and leggings on their own. I mean, if these ensembles are unflattering on these rail thin models- how are they supposed to look cool on a normal girl? What-ever. On the other hand, I really liked the spreads at the end that have products that are inspired by model street fashion and DSquared and Marc Jacobs. Very cool.
I've had some time to look at some inspiring fall fashions (basically the only worthwhile aspect of autumn) and picked out some fave overall shows.
