Type bookshop on Queen West is the coziest place in Toronto to escape from the cold and browse intentionally slowly through a carefully curated collection of books. The other day when I went in, this Magnetic Fields album- which I later figured out was called 69 Love Songs- was playing. I really wanted to figure out who it was when I got home; at first thinking it was Jens Lekman's new album, since I haven't heard much of it yet, but then remembered the lyric "I think I need a new..." and typed it into google and there it was! I don't even need Shazam!
Type books made this amazing stop motion video and, although the original music is cool, I think the visuals fit perfectly with "I Think I Need a New Heart"as a soundtrack. This video gives you an idea of what the store looks like and the overall not-Chapters-ness of it, and wil definitely make you want to go look around there.
Tennis headbands, tawny fur coats and 70s sportswear @ the Prada 2013 resort collection. This reminds me of how next halloween I wanted to dress up as a hybrid of characters from the Royal Tenenbaums..but then again, why not just dress like this all the time.

Here's a podcast type thing with quotes and songs...it's like how I'd make a mix cassette for a friend except this was collaged together digitally. **If you missed Pt.1, go here.
