YOOoo Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris directed "1979" by The Smashing Pumpkins! Can you see the similarities between this and the "Milky Way" ad? They're so good at these beautiful nostalgic car scenes. The song 1979 itself has the same wistful sound as Pink Moon by Nick Drake. Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris are able to externalize the feelings of these songs visually. I think it would be cool to make a mix tape inspired by the word "wistful," since I seem to be drawn to any song that has this feeling..
