interesting fur

Quirky fur, like fur jackets that are older and worn in a non-upscale Holt Renfrew way...as in with disheveled hair, and dollar store "party section" accessories (sparkle glasses, plastic rings). It's possible to wear something fur and not have it consume your entire being with both its size and ability to make people go "euugh, you're a FREAK." I think the key is to not have toooo much of it..like a fur stole or a shorter chubby jacket. That said, Margot Tenenbaum totally pulled off the long fur coat, buuuut something tells me that the slim blonde fur coat she wears wouldn't be one you'd get for $40 at the thift store.

Ps. not that I really need to say this but...don't be tempted into buying a new 50 billion $$ fur coat!! Fur industries are effed. Vintage is the way to gooo if you haven't yet inherited that perfect plushy fur jacket yet.

Marc Jacobs fall 2011 thick black eyeliner, icy red cheeks, and flesh lips is PERFECT. Now that the weather has drastically changed from summer to fall, walking about town will make people's cheeks nice and rosy, no cream blush needed. Isn't it funny how chilly weather only makes cheeks rosy in a cheery way whereas heat just makes you uncomfortably bright red all over? I prefer the former personally. With the rosiness taken care of, learn how to do the eye thing here.

I'm Ready

So with a final heat wave, I think I might finally be ready to accept the fact that fall WILL come at some point. I can at least say that I'm reluctantly excited about fall fashion..and pumpkin flavored things. I've made a little collage of what I'm feeling for fall with what little free time I have at the moment. I've also included some of my fave songs of now. I like keeping musical diaries so that listening to certain songs later on will bring back all the memories associated with it. That's all.
